To many government employees

We need a lot less government employees.  In Cheshire on Rte 70 by the 84 eastbound entrance a manhole cover broke.  They had 3 state DOT trucks 1 protecting the work area and the other 2 past it just messing up traffic for no safety reason, and 6 people standing around while one did the welding.  What a waste of money!  In private sector it would have been 1 truck carrying the supplies and parked to protect the work zone and cones out.  The entire CT government from the state to the cities and towns is so bloated and that is one of the main main reason CT economy is in the state it is in.  DMV is another prime example of incompetence, right after the governors office and the legislature.
